Who is?
Hi! I’m Akeela, but my friends call me Kee.
XO Kee was founded with a simple purpose in mind: to make a meaningful difference in people’s everyday lives through thoughtful design. I’m deeply passionate about wellbeing and creating spaces that feel calm, personal, and lived in — not just styled. I truly believe our homes are an extension of who we are, and every space should reflect the people who live there. At XO Kee, my goal is to design homes that feel authentic, intentional, and aligned with each client’s vision of their dream home.

Akeela
I graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Interior Design and am currently completing my master’s degree at Colorado State University in Design and Merchandising with an Interior Design specialization. My graduate research focuses on my passion for luxury retail store interiors and the ways design can elevate both experience and wellbeing.
I genuinely love the design industry and the collaborative process of working with clients to bring their visions to life. I deeply care about my clients and their wellbeing, which is why my work is rooted in a human-centered design approach—creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but thoughtful, functional, and meaningful.
